-
CLEANING & HYGIENE
Routine six-month teeth cleanings are the cornerstone of preventive care. During your appointment, a hygienist will clean, polish, and floss your teeth, and the Dr. will check for signs of common oral health problems like gum disease and tooth decay.
-
DIGITAL X-RAYS
We use digital x-rays at Perfect Smile Dental Centers. Compared to film-based x-rays, digital x-rays require less radiation exposure, provide better image quality, and provide instant results. X-rays are essential for seeing below the surface and looking for signs of oral problems that may not be visible with a visual exam alone.
-
FLUORIDE TREATMENTS
Fluoride treatments are an excellent choice for cavity-prone patients. In this procedure, the Dr. will paint a fluoride-rich solution onto your teeth, then rinse it away after a few minutes. This strengthens your teeth and protects them from cavities, and can be done during any routine appointment at our office.
-
DENTAL SEALANTS
Dental sealants are made from a special type of transparent resin that’s painted onto your rear teeth and hardened. This forms a protective barrier that protects them against cavities.
-
PERIODONTAL CARE
We offer a full range of solutions for gum disease, including deep cleanings (scaling & root planing). Take control of your gum health, and get the care you need to halt or reverse gum disease.
-
ORAL CANCER SCREENINGS
Oral cancer is rare, but it’s important to catch it early. Dentists are the first line of defense. During every routine appointment, the Dr. will examine your mouth for bumps, lesions, and other abnormalities to look for signs of oral cancer.
-
NIGHT GUARDS
Night guards protect against teeth grinding (bruxism). With a night guard, you can protect your teeth from chipping, cracking, premature wear and tear, and more.
-
SPORTS MOUTHGUARDS
Wearing a sports mouthguard dramatically reduces your risk of damaging or losing a tooth. If you play contact sports or have hobbies like skateboarding or mountain biking, We can build a custom-fitted mouthguard that will protect your teeth.
-
SLEEP APNEA THERAPY
Sleep apnea is more than just a snore. It can cause poor-quality sleep in the short term, and serious issues like a higher risk of heart attack and stroke in the long term. With treatments like Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) for sleep apnea, We can help you get the restful sleep you deserve.

An oral cancer screening is an integral part of preventive care for most patients. Having healthy teeth can boost your overall health. To properly take care of your teeth at home, follow these steps:
Brush your teeth at least two times a day for two minutes each time. Remember to use a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Floss at least once after brushing. This can eliminate plaque that sticks between the teeth after brushing.
Use fluoride toothpaste to strengthen tooth enamel and reduce plaque. It can also prevent tooth decay because it protects teeth from the acid that is produced by tooth decay-causing bacteria. Fluoride remineralizes tooth enamel, which helps to replace lost minerals that have been lost due to acid attacks. In addition, it can help freshen breath and whiten teeth by removing surface stains.
Avoid sugary foods and drinks. This can help limit the amount of sugar that comes into contact with your teeth. Consumption of excess sugar can cause tooth decay because the sugar can react with the harmful bacteria in your mouth to produce an acid that degrades tooth enamel.
